MUCH better.

I bet that one guy who designs every single supercar for every manufacturer is making a TON of money.

I didn't think it was helping one party or another, but I also didn't think it was what anyone wanted to hear right now. Nobody is in the mood for kumbya and hand-holding. We're about to have the most divisive, nasty and consequential election in history, and everyone is sharpening their knives.

brb plane to LA really quick

You have no responsibility to assist law enforcement in the execution of their search warrant on your property. If the police want to get into your home or office or files, they need to provide the means to accomplish this, be it a locksmith or a crowbar. Now, it may be in your best interest to cooperate for various

I'm... not going to be doing that.

Good. This was a bullshit judgement anyway, and it needs to be escalated. She did exactly the right thing by claiming that she forgot the password.

Ha! I was just about to write the exact same comment.

Why do we have to call everything a 'hack' now?

I think its funny how nobody really hammered away like this when Steve Jobs was alive. Yeah, there were a few stories and everyone sort of knew about it, but now that Jobs is dead, the floodgates have opened and its as if the media are just now discovering that Apple takes advantage of cheap and controversial labor in

Government can't force anyone to do anything. If a company is no longer profitable enough to sustain its growth, then the company closes down. If Apple didn't make the profit it makes, it would cease to innovate, sales would suffer as a result, and the company would go out of business. And who wins in that situation?

You just hit it right on the head. An iPad manufactured in the USA would cost five grand or more, easily. Between the tax structure, the environmental regulations necessary to even set up a factory, and the union labor required to staff it, the ultimate cost would triple or quadruple.

But only after a sufficient middle class develops in China, making it no longer cost effective to continue to keep the work there. For that to happen, China will have moved past that stage, as we have in America, and will likely have an economy that is no longer centered around cheap labor for manufacturing, as ours
