Hockey fans are the exact same way though. I think they both like being niche sports but then claim they hate how more people don't watch it. The hipsters of the popular sports world if you will

If you do not enjoy a sport you are not a "new and casual fan". If you are having a conversation with someone and insulting their sport (because why else would you be talking about something you don't like) they are not going to respond nicely.
Unfortunately for soccer in the US, Olbermann is still working on the first way to get people to watch his show.
Must be nice that FIFA/Premier League have no need for corporate sponsorship. So pure...
Smoak, you seem like a nice enough guy, but it's pretty obvious that you and I have much different definitions of the word "creative."
Yes, Tom has the "correct" one.
...who lead MLB in hits, average and OPS. Oh, and are tied for the lead in OBP. 2nd in MLB in runs too.
Impressive, but not as impressive as the fact that Brian Wilson also gave up no hits in this game as well.
Kershaw is all class. He had Hanley's back in the post-game, saying it was a "difficult play under normal circumstances" and "could've been scored a hit". That's BS, but he's too great a guy and teammate to even acknowledge it.
Mattingly is a bad manager, that's why. I don't think Kershaw cares about the distinction. he did all the job he could do.
Great for Kershaw, but Mattingly fell asleep at the wheel and killed his bid for a perfect game. They were up 7 in the 3rd and 8 in the 4th. Hanley is nursing an injured finger on his throwing hand to go along with the shoulder issues he was dealing with last week. What else does Mattingly have to think about in the…
He also walked four guys.
There needs to be a third category between no-hitter and perfect game, where the perect game is only t because of an error and not because of a walk.
Bill James game score of 102. Cain's perfect game in 2012 was 101. Kerry Wood's 20K one-hitter was a 105. Unless I'm missing something, Clayton Kershaw just pitched the second greatest game in history.
The best way to compare no-hitters is in the walk and hit categories
So he gets to punch Hanley in the face whenever he feels like it for the rest of time, right?
The most dominating pitching performance I have ever seen. Rockies weren't even close to getting a hit.
If you're not tone deaf, it is impossible to be a fan of his on any level.
My advice for someone trying to get into Lil B is don't.
Commemorating your murders with tats reminds me of this:
