A bunch of my Star Wars/LARPer friends have been to this. None of them are rich, and all of them said it was worth the money. BUT! They were also experience LARPers, who were good at “Yes, and” and moving in the flow of a story. From what they said, the employees/actors/NPCs were EXCELLENT.

I don’t think that most

I’m pretty sure the article is saying that the song “A girl worth fighting for” is saying something that the movie later does not support fully.

It’s hard to replicate network effects.

You can love something AND critique it.

“Break-in?” Why? Why not welcome everyone, and not be an asshole and just win? I’m really competitive in a bunch of areas, but I’m not a dick to people I beat.

No, you can change this behavior. I’ve seen it in other scenes, but it takes work. It means people who have clout in the scene or power in the scene have to engage and discourage bad behavior.

Fuck this “always like this” crap.

Roy saving Deckard is about Roy’s humanity. Not Deckard.

Deckard being human emphasizes Roy’s love and lust for life in contrast to the more stoic human..

Deckard being replicant emphasizes that replicant life can be just as varied and meaningful as a humans.

That depends on the version of Libertarian. Many I’ve talked to are anti regulation, but NOT anti-state

I think it is just more personal and easier to talk about the dead celebrities who meant something to us than the deeper dread that things may be headed into a much darker political place. It feels like a physical manifestation of existential dread.
