They walked out assemblers and FSAs last week. So much for clean and safe stores. Oh and now that grill you wanted assembled and delivered tomorrow? Week to 10 days. Bold strategy, Cotton.

Imagine only writing articles hating on CoD such hot takes you guys have here...

They are just writing this nonsense to try and get clicks this is how outrage media works. I’m sure they are also sad they don’t get invited to any of this sort of thing since the “journalism” they put forth is quite hilarious.

Long term trend is all pain - just a brief respite.

Not enough stars.

It will probably be shorter than a few years. Once a mall enters a death spiral, it’s almost impossible for them to pull out of it.

“It’s totally a mature game! Hosing Willie Pete on some hostiles is totally cool! Next expansion, we’re adding Mustard Gas - it’ll be fun!”

Hey but what about the microtransactions. I cannot wait to see the market place and ethical surprise mechanics.

I was in my local GameStop the other day and talking to the manager. He said that he wanted “to make a community, not just another store” out of the location he managed. My first thought was the same parallel to comics shops that you just drew.

Not likely. Retail is dying more and more. This industry is just getting hit harder as they don’t even have a product anymore since it’s all going digital now. It’s going to be very difficult for a regional manager to find a job and even more to find a better paying one. Most likely they’ll end up making less and

Spencer’s Gifts...That reminded me of a dying indoor mall on the east side of Columbus OH (Eastland Shopping Center). Spencer’s was there when I was a teenager during the 1970s, the go-to place for T-Shirts, black-light posters and other odd items. Later on Electronics Boutique came to the mall.

Or an office job that does not require to interact with the public. I would rather be behind the scenes then deal with people again.

Literally every mid-market retail.

I hope they offered a 25 percent trade in value severance package.

Retail in genral. I love working the industrial field. High wages, easier work, and no sight or working with the general public. I would tell anybody to get a job at a factory and avoid retail like the plague.

Gamestop thought turning itself into a Spencer’s Gifts would save them, but it apparently failed considering there is always too much merchandise in one direction, but not enough that people actually wanted fads and all.

“Unfortunately, with these changes, there are more than 50 field leaders who have been impacted and will be leaving the GameStop team,” it continues. “This includes regional, district, HR [Human Resources, and LP [Loss Prevention] leaders. These decisions are not easy, but necessary to help us reduce costs to

An issue with EA is that they make two kinds of games. Big games based on their existing franchises, and big games based on other people’s franchises.

A “fun” game would be out of the ordinary for them.

Which, if we’re being really honest, is how they do any and every game.

They exposed data for 147 million people, and they only have to pay $31 million for that?
