I made a cosy for my coffee press and repaired some jeans, but it takes forever to upload pics from phone (gremlins?) and I didn’t plan ahead so I’ll have to post them some other time. I was especially happy with the cosy because it works (!!) and I found fabric to match the 60s dish set I got from my grandmother.

I had the opposite reaction- I lost my appetite, was repulsed by anything sweet, had to avoid eating after about 4 pm so the acid reflux wouldn’t keep me up at night and then felt incredibly anxious that I was already a bad mom because I was losing weight. I’m glad you’re having a happier time! Sending you good vibes…

Go for it! I think it’s harder when it’s written because it’s usually funnier when you can hear the delivery, and the pauses and so on.

Getting outside the moment there’s a little sunlight- it doesn’t last long this time of year. I find this time of year tough, so I’ve tried to re-frame it as “cosy” and “restful” instead of “dark/ gloomy.” I hang up extra christmas lights (the old non-led kind) that add a nice, warm, cheerful glow to my home.
