Nope, I’m in the south, but I’ve been following the story about the NorthMart fire, so northern food security has been top of mind. Like you, I also have friends who’ve worked there, and they’ve talked about how expensive everything is. The pic is from a cbc story (link above photo.) It’s pretty nuts. I’m vegetarian,

Hi, Canadian. “Eskimo” has not been a thing for a while now. Also “cruel Inuit cultural seal clobbering”? Really? Food is extremely expensive in Canada’s fly-in communities and hunting keeps families from starving. Food insecurity is a huge problem in the north, where heavy non-perishables are all shipped by land in

I don’t loathe him, I think he’s sketchy.

He comes across as someone who wants what he wants and isn’t concerned about how aggressive he has to be to get it.

I really love watching Jennifer Aniston. JA + southern accent = :)

I started tearing up a bit at the end. I love that the pageant obsessed mom isn’t a villain.

This doesn’t shock me.

My friends and I decided in high school if anyone raped one of us, we’d lure him to the local golf course afterhours, stake him out spread eagled and then take a cheese grater to his dick.

How to plan for her adulthood would be a big worry, but you’d have time to set up a support system with people you trust. If you’ve got supportive family, I imagine that would continue in the next generation.

I used to go through so much MH french vanilla. I bet it’d be good with a little Bailey’s (not at work).

I’m so sorry that happened. I’m glad your friend has a caring person like you looking out for her.

That’s tough. I have one embryo conceived with IVF and I’ve been getting ready for implantation- I can’t imagine the anxiety you must be feeling. There’s so many decisions you have to make where you don’t really have all the information. I’d say trust your gut, and aim for maximum distraction for the next 10 days.

Glad to help!

You’re welcome! :)

That doesn’t sound so bad. I bet it would be good on ice cream.

They make really cool shadows on the walls, too. Once I got the hang of it, they were pretty addictive to make. I think I’ll try some Christmas themed ones too. I just got a library book with some simple embroidery patterns for the holidays, but first I really need to finish the larger cross stitch project I started

I think you can use tech alternatives like phone counselling. Or just go and chat, and spend some time getting to know your counsellor. You don’t have to jump into anything. Instead of talking about insecurities, you could pick a more neutral topic, like advice for homesickness. I started off with wanting some stress
