As a lot of comments mentioned, they don’t have to do much and thousands will buy the game. BUT, the fact that palworld has come to light and have so many people a taste of what pokemon could be, anyone could at least make an argument for “they better come out swinging”.

Complaints have been coming for a while before s/v. If I had to guess I’d say after the b/w series is really when people started to complain.
