Considering almost all of the “evidence” of the affair is either circumstantial (like the Instagram post, which could have just been an ill-timed measure), or comes from “unnamed sources,” it might be a good idea to hold off on any definitive finger-pointing right about now.

I know I will get shot down for this, but here it goes:

All of this is just gross. Like, if Jay Z wants to cheat, fine. If Beyoncé wants to write a passive aggressive lyric about that, fine. If Rachel wants to brag about it on Instagram, fine. I. Don’t. Give. A. Fuck.

It’s ridiculous. People seem to want her to just stand around and be their favorite object for target practice. She can’t comment or have an opinion. Just stand there and take it so they feel good and hope it all makes her feel bad about herself.

kim is literally not allowed any joy or anything ever times infinity, according to most of jez.

Kim Kardashian may be shallow and vain, but she’s never been unkind to people. The cruel mocking seems unnecessary. But then I suppose you need web traffic, and mocking her provides you with a ton of it! (I promise she can still get you clicks without reverting to full on asshole humiliating mean girl territory).

Who cares? Amazing that people are sharing a video just to laugh at her, but the second she posts an image from it in memory, it’s suddenly self promotion.

The amount of time we all spend hating on Kim Kardashian says a lot more about us than it does about her.

I don't think it's one of the other with Kim and Prince. She froze and was starstruck and he was amazing and kicked her off the stage. We can laugh and she can still look at it as a fond memory. Hell, I'd brag too if he kicked me off a stage!

I’m not sure that its fair to say Kim is “spinning” the video. The entire thing was featured on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians when it happened. She acknowledged then that she was star struck in the moment and hates dancing/is terrible at it.

I believe Kim. If anyone could make Kim K feel star struck, it would have been Prince.

Maybe she doesn’t care that he kicked her off the stage. Maybe she just cares that she got to meet him.

I did put a leash (one of those backpack things with the leash attached) on my kid once because I had a newborn strapped to me (so could not chase after her) and we had to walk across a really busy street every day. Some asshole made a nasty comment about it and had I not been, you know, busy trying to get my newborn

Here’s a nice bit from the BET Chaka Khan tribute.

I don’t recommend listening to the intro to “Let’s Go Crazy” in public today. I held it together until “beloved.”

I insulted him to his face at a concert. Really small venue event for charity. You were never more than three people away from the stage. The show started two hours late and after standing outside in stilettos waiting to get in the venue, I was not in the mood. I was standing dead center in front of the stage, being

yes, it’s a pity, but then again his subversion of traditional masculinity helped many thousands of gay people feel comfortable in their skin. I don’t think you need to show us how problematic you think he was when everybody is pouring their hearts out over this tragedy.

I was privileged to have seen him live, at Coachella in 2008. He brought out The Time and Sheila E and I thought I had entered nirvana. Then he launched into Radiohead’s “Creep” and I just stood there, mouth wide open, doing that laugh/cry thing you get to do only a few times in your life. If the world had ended at

Totally. Prince was legit, and The Cities are cooler for having him. I seriously think that it is the first thing people think of when they think of Minneapolis.
