People who read tabloids are also part of our voting demographic. These attitudes directly affect the viability of female political candidates and may be why we’ve only seen 2 this election cycle. Compared to, you know, women being 50% of the population.

No doubt, probably something about Bernie not accepting more than $20 increments - and only from non-fancy sources, like deli’s and dive bars.....

Shocking. I’m sure it will be framed here and elsewhere as “SELLOUT HILLARY IN THE POCKET OF BIG TV CABAL.”

There was so much bitterness and righteousness in Anna Kendrick’s tweet. I’m so proud.

Reading Khloe’s comments was sort of tough. I’ve sp not the Las few years in a relationship with someone who is struggling with mental illness and addiction. He’s doing pretty OK now, and has been alcohol free for over a year and heroin free for six months. He had a rough few days and is actually at the VA hospital

I feel really bad for Khloe. I think she really does love Lamar and loving someone that you can’t be with (for whatever reason) really really really sucks.

Oh, and it applies to all the men in your church’s choir. ESPECIALLY the director.

I am shocked—shocked—that a Mississippi born and raised gospel singer is homophobic. I mean, yes, her homophobia is wrong, but so too was the assumption that she shared her fans’ political views based on nothing but the fact that they created a black diva persona for her.

You don’t need to. Just bask in it. Don’t ask questions. It just is.

Girl, I FEEL YOU so hard on feeling ashamed or like I’m being shamed for supporting her.

It’s definitely not the writers. In the last couple days Bernie gave a disturbingly vague interview to the NYDN which got a mention in a write-up about subway tokens, his campaign manager literally brought an actual Onion article to life telling talking about Hillary on MSNBC (or CNN. I can’t remember.) which Jezebel

Bernie may say he’s a democratic socialist, but you know he supports capitalism too, right? Cuz he keeps voting in favor of budgets and stuff. Oop.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OH MY GOD, AMAZING.

I was undecided for a very long time, then I really looked at the criticisms of her, the BernieBros attacking me, and read some really interesting pieces on how sexism colors everyone’s opinions of her. It dawned on me that she has the most vetted record and an incredibly awful uphill battle to get to where she is. I

Yeah, I mean I voted for Bernie in my primary and would happily vote for him in the general. But the absolutely frothing hatred for Hillary that a lot of hardcore Bernie supporters seem to have has really tempered my initial enthusiasm. It feels incredibly short-sighted to me, and the sexist flavor of a lot of the

In other words, he compromised his principles for what he thought was the greater good. I thought that sort of thinking was an anathema to “revolutionaries.” Sounds like he’s just another establishment politician to me.

So for the record, this right here is what people are talking about when they mention the nasty misogyny that gets spouted by Bernie “Bros.” This is juvenile, sexist, and incredibly disrespectful. Really just disgusting stuff all around, and I’d wager Bernie himself would be pretty grossed out and disappointed by it

No answer to the 93% then?

It’s not his fault; it’s somehow HRC’s fault that Sanders (who was in office at the time) voted for the bill and she (who wasn’t in office at the time and therefore had no ability to vote for or against the bill) didn’t.

Just a reminder for the unhinged “HRC is a conservative Dino-monster” - she and Sanders voted the same 93% the time during their shared time in the Senate. So what does that make him? (I know, a saint who walks on water and has never ever done anything wrong in his life and if you say differently a bunch of people get
