Lonnie Liston Smith and Ramsey Lewis (their stuff from the 70s). Learned about them through the Pandora station I have on Donald Byrd.

So glad that there was a variety of Gaga looks, not like the numerous Madonna red kimonos.
Did he rap Lil Yachty's verse from "Broccoli"?
San Angelo. I usually get some Taco Villa when I'm passing through Big Spring or Midland. So jealous that you have 3 near your house, lucky!
Taco Villa. I don't have them in my city, so I'll pass through a city in Texas to pick some up. I get the #1 combo, which is a burrito, fries, and a drink. They have a breakfast menu but I haven't tried it yet.
Migos comes out with a new album, Culture, on January 27.
Let kids be kids. Let them listen to what interests them. I listened nonstop to the Jem and the Holograms tape that came with my doll and I turned out alright. I played Heart's "These Dreams" on cassette more times than I could count. When I was a kid I didn't dictate what was played in the car, it was what my mom…
They're so gimmicky with all their videos being all coordinated and on treadmills and shit.
I like your list. I'd add Travis Scott.
Here are my favorites of 2016:
Baskets
The People Vs OJ Simpson
The Get Down
Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule
Idiotsitter
Game of Thrones
Dick Wolf trying to get into some of those Investigation Discovery ratings.
I'm currently reading Agatha Christie's The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. I started watching Poirot on Netflix during the Thanksgiving holiday. I finished The Murder on the Links, Murder on the Orient Express, and The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Someone advised me to read Roger Ackroyd before watching the show version, so…
I don't mess with KFC. I ate some once on my lunch break. It was not good 30 minutes afterwards…
"Minnesota" is one of my favorites songs of the year.
It was my favorite new show of this year. I'm so glad that it got a second season.
Some comments were made on the Starboy review about "House of Balloons / Glass Table Girls." I had never looked at his debut, my mind was blown when I listened to it. You can see the influence it had on stuff that is out now.
I did not listen to many albums this year. The ones I did like were:
DRAM - Big Baby Dram
Ty Dolla Sign - Campaign
James Blake - The Colour in Anything
Young Thug - Jeffery
The Weeknd - Starboy
D.R.A.M.'s "Broccoli" is up against Drake's "Hotline Bling." I hope "Broccoli" wins (it's a catchy, fun song anyway), karma for Drake jacking "Cha Cha."
He can't be that horrible if he has a weenie dog…
For Elton John, I'd pick "Tiny Dancer." Too many people just know it as the song from Almost Famous. Trump used it at his rallies, so I'd like to erase that from memory.
