Gotta have Amy back to voice The Machine too!

I am sure the producers would have loved to have had more episodes, but CBS ordered 13. And mandated that there were case of the week episodes.

One small note - Samaritan was able to find Reese, Finch, Shaw, and Fusco because of the cochlear implant from Root. Since it was connected to the same network as their phones, Samaritan could find them. It wasn't related to Ice-9.

Second all of this. And I will of course add "Fortune Days" as The Machine's Sim Soundtrack. And Jetta's "I'd Love to Change The World"

Hey it'll give me a good excuse to start re-watch #9!

Plageman and Nolan said the one thing they wish they clarified more in the finale was that Shaw smiled at the end because she heard Root's voice on the phone.

I was waiting for that missile to destroy the satellite where Samaritan and The Machine were having it out. I was surprised when that didn't happen.

Plus Root vs Control. Ooof.

holy shit I didn't even think about that.

I couldn't agree more.

Amy Acker shows up in Alias S5 for multiple episodes. You might enjoy that.

I read an interview with Nolan and Plageman where they said that returning to Control and Zoe were in the plans but cut with the smaller episode order. Also, more time with Root and Shaw, and more time with Elias on the team.

I love that The Machine was worried he wasn't active enough.

I will also say that "The Devil's Share" is the episode where the show pivoted to become something larger - as the next two episodes were "Lethe" and "Alethia" which introduced Samaritan.

We have a Senate in real life that refuses to vote on someone to complete the Supreme Court, so I could see a House of Representatives that refuses to vote on someone else being President.

Bear becomes a mystical animal like the magic chicken from OITNB

Except she was already dead, unfortunately.

Which he also won an Emmy for.

I loved that they included a bit of "The Devil's Share" in this episode for Fusco's "Machine removed" rewind, showing the clip of him talking about Carter making him a better person.

I watch "Mom" because of Allison Janney and Anna Faris, (and it's actually pretty great) but it will be my lone CBS show.
