It's because Amy Acker is too good at being sad. I would very much like a happy ending for her.

Maybe he just really likes Reese Witherspoon… I mean he had to pick the alias "Reese" from somewhere.

I liked it!

I totally missed the Dr Enright connection, that's a great callback for the show to use. I did enjoy that episode.

We are probably delving into this too much, but in that case, you could have a mashup of Doyle / Cordelia / Lorne as TM, since they all have this sort of ability.

Yeah, there isn't a lot of them. I would think Adria Arjona should be able to do both, if everyone is amenable.

I saw her in the preview for next week too. Super excited. I'm sure they are just gonna ask her for help in figuring out what's going on.

If they get Silva to stick around in a more important capacity, it may not be for a while. She's a regular in the new True Detective season (though it'll just be for that one run of the season I am sure)

But it isn't always for someone they love. I'm mostly certain that Reese wasn't going to kill the Senator for information or revenge for someone he loves. That was to try to protect against Samaritan.

I know the actress who plays Silva is in the new season of True Detective so I am not sure how long she can recur with us on POI, but it was definitely nice to see her again.

Does that make Carter the parallel for Cordelia? The character who is always referred to as the heart of the team?

In the last episode, Root was going to kill Control with the taser to her heart. The only reason it didn't happen is because Finch was there to stop her. I don't think that this episode is singular in Root going off the rails and back to bad habits.

The showrunners have said for a while that they only want Bill Murray as the mayor. That's who they have always envisioned when making the show.

I would add 24 to the Reed Diamond list, too. Offed by Charles Logan.

The only regular cast member they added was Lance Hunter (Nick Blood). They haven't added anyone else to the main cast since the show premiered. Lots of recurring characters, but no one else added as a series regular.

After all the talk of honor in this episode, I surely hope that won't turn out to be the case. I would hope Elias would feel that removing Finch would be a dishonorable thing to do. But people do crazy things with revenge on their mind.

It sure seemed like they started that a bit at the end of the episode last night, with Dominic and his pictures, along with the big question mark grouped with "Detective Riley" and "The Bitch Who Took Me From The Ambulance"

They did show him running away from the safe while on the phone when he realized what was happening. So I don't think he really ended up being closer than everyone else.

The producers have stated that they want to do the sci-fi elements (you know, before PRISM when everyone thought it was sci-fi) and the more "realistic" stories as well. That's been done from the beginning. I agree that it's not moving away from that. We have those sorts of plots in almost every episode.

10/30/1974 was the date of the Rumble in the Jungle between Muhammed Ali and George Foreman.
