Daniel Dae Kim had to learn Korean for the role, mostly taught to him by Yunjin Kim.
Actually, the show runners told Emelie de Ravin that they didn't have a place for Claire in S5, so they told her she could go do something else for a while, right after S4 wrapped. But they also signed her to a future contract for S6 at that same time, so she knew she was coming back.
"Oceans Apart" is spectacular. I love Juliet's theme.
It doesn't matter for Emmy consideration. Their rules are funky. Someone in the main credits can submit as a Guest Actor / Actress. And someone in just a handful of scenes can submit for Supporting.
I agree, I wish there had been something as an epilogue rather than something that could be completed at any point of the game.
I agree that LOST is certainly a binge watch show, as many people caught up on the DVDs to be able to watch live. I wouldn't say that LOST sparked the binge watching craze though.
Spoilery.
"Hollywood and Vines" is the name of the walking music
Not Penny's Boat. Sigh. :(
JJ Abrams likes to do that in those movies with actors from his shows.
ME3 would have been my favorite game ever except for those last 5 minutes. Sigh.
I would argue Person of Interest could throw a hat in the ring for Heir to Lost.
Part of the reason Sun and Jin (initially) didn't have much character growth is because they weren't in the original script. They wrote Sun for Yunjin Kim after she auditioned for Kate, because they wanted her on the show. Then they wrote in Jin for her storyline.
Hurley also had daddy issues. Cheech left his mom for a long time and came back after the lottery win.
She would have knocked it out of the park though :)
*Spoiler-iness* -
Juliet made Elizabeth Mitchell one of my favorite actors of all time. I will watch anything she is in. Even Santa Clause 3.
"Hollywood and Vines" is spectacular. And "The Incident" as well.
To be fair, the show wanted to center several things around (NEWBIE SPOILERS) Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje - Mr. Eko, from The Tailies - but he wanted to leave the show, so they removed his character from the show as he requested.
