Even if it was a remaster or new game altogether, there is no way in hell that some mods for the old games will have anything to do with the new game’s success. At this point, modding any of those old games is so obscure (and downright tedious if you’re not used to it), that most people won’t even bother.
Even if you

Unless they are doing a direct port, anything the release that polishes up the gameplay glitches and hitches will result in a game far more playable than the old versions, with or without mods. And it’s likely the modders will turn to any new port further rendering the older ones obsolete.

As it is, they all have bugs

This makes me never want to bother with any GTA game again. I was already lost with the Online game. But damn, just let the modders mod. It’s not like they’re disrupting any revenue flow at all. Hell, they’re probably the only reason people are still buying the old games to begin with.

They already re-released them

I think the reason we don’t see companies dying to make something new is that we always mock it into the ground. Nobody liked the FJ cruiser when it was new. The PT Cruiser was unwanted, as was the HHR, people mocked the Ford Flex (it’s not that bizarre, but still different). The Honda Element, pretty much every Scion

Honestly, fuck Midnight club at the point, there are enough racers and the last few games were bad. Give me another (or at least a port) of Smuggler’s Run.

I like the idea and I see where people would enjoy it, but that’s gonna be a solid no for me.
The appeal isn’t just that the Switch is portable, it’s that’s it’s home to Nintendo’s franchises. Otherwise, there are a plethora of devices that can play games off of Steam.

No, timed exclusives makes a lot of sense for a studio. It’s not Sony or MS is just walking up to a studio and asking for a favor. They’re literally dropping millions for that exclusivity.
It’s a bit of a win-win for the developer as they get a huge financial edge in the beginning of development and they’ll likely

Honestly, I just really want a god mode in pretty much all games. Especially a game like Just Cause or GTA or even in the Saint’s Row series. There’s nothing more satisfying than just tearing through the game for fun every now and again.

One thing that’s annoying as fuck is hiding the “true” ending to a game behind

We don’t talk about those titles here. I hear Killzone 3 will look just like real life in 4k VR with Ray Tracing.

This is like a reverse of how the 360/PS3 era went down. In the beginning, Microsoft had a ton of exclusives.
Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dead Rising, Alone in the Dark, Enchanted Arms, ESIV, Eternal Sonata, Overlord. All of them went to the PS3, eventually. We’d be in a different game world if those games stayed as Xbox

I chose to bicycle everywhere, largely out of habit and cost. I was particularly poor and couldn’t afford insurance and a car as well as maintaining a car and I wasn’t going to get a paycheck just to sink it into a car. So I bicycled everywhere. When I was 29, I was somewhat bored, so I went on a community bike ride

Some may complain, but my brain isn’t stuck permanently in one interest. Thanks for posting this, I hadn’t seen either of the videos, but it’s interesting to see how it was done. My only remaining question is, what car was he driving?

My sister inadvertently ran away when she was 14 after getting drunk at a party in a trailer park. She was initially afraid to come home because she was drunk and didn’t want to get in trouble, but after that, they kept up with the alcohol and a few other drugs. Nobody had seen her and we had no phone for her to

I’m going to go ahead and say that it comes down entirely to the OS. Sony seems to build a new version of their OS for each console, coding each one to the hardware they’re on. Causing fundamental differences that means games can’t just be ran over without some sort of porting involved, whereas Microsoft had

It looked like a 3d model, so I always assumed it was a 3d model. It never struck me that anybody would think it wasn’t. Although it makes a lot of sense why people would think it’s an image, it surprises me.

It’s cool to see it being manipulated like that, but also weird af.

Those pensions are why the USPS is hard up on cash. They’re required to hold 50 years worth of pensions for employees they may not even have.

Many of those games are already playable via backcompat, some of them with enhancements, Fable is getting a reboot of sorts.
With the purchase of Insomniac Games, Sony now owns the rights to Sunset Overdrive, unless Microsoft purchased the IP (they also have Spiro as an exclusive), but I hear you on Voodoo Vince,

The new versions looks better the the outgoing mobile ports, but dang, is it so hard to properly release them?
Like damn, I’ve got them on my SNES classic and they look great with that output and even better using scanlines. I don’t see why companies continually ignore the communities around these games

Okay yeah, but they bought 1 dev that already made games exclusive to them for 230 million dollars. They were already getting the exclusive games.
Microsoft purchased an entire publisher of games that covered 8 studios including id Software and Bethesda, as well as all of their franchises and games ever produced. Not

So basically, they’re saying they don’t have the money to buy the studio, so they buy exclusives until they get enough to buy the dev.
