Some people need to spend less time on the internet.

Well an intelligent and compassionate government would put laws in place to make sure people are paid and business can stay closed long term until the virus is mitigated.
Ok fair enough if people don’t want to visit a cinema, but is there any suggestions on how cinemas will stay in business if they stay closed until next spring/summer? Or any cultural venues for that matter?
Where I live no one with any criminal conviction is ever allowed on a jury, lifetime ban for even one misdemeanor. Seem that having someone that knows what it is like on that side of the criminal “justice” system may make juries a bit more fair. it is not like every criminal on earth is in one giant brotherhood that…
You went too Canadian, and politely agreed with a dissenting viewpoint. I kid, that’s called “being reasonable”
I’m in that Australian state. The lockdown is not so bad. I got the platinum trophy in Witcher 3. Unfortunately a particularly stupid brand of self-entitlement has raised its head here from the US via Facebook creating our own set of Karens.

But one major advantage that Game Pass has over…
My guess is: Sony has a price nobody will like. Microsoft is dead-set on undercutting Sony but doesn’t want to overdo it and lose more money than they need to. End result is a big game of chicken.
Yeah, I agree. I think it’s the undercut thing. MS is afraid of Sony pulling what they did against the Saturn and announcing a lower price than MS the next day.
Agreed I think that means it will be more expensive than what most people are guessing (which would be understandable) and they are afraid to just spit it out. Or they are worried the whoever posts a price first the other will undercut them.
3 months away and neither system has announced their price.
Also in addition to other races, languages, and cultures already mentioned, seafood, modernity, fog... well, here, I’m just going to quote the NY Review of Books:
