It dawned on me that this is a sketch comedy show with a sitcom framing device. Which is an interesting and original twist. I am waiting for people to point out it's been done before.

The Flash suffers from terrrible actors and terrible dialog. Iris West is worse than Barbara Keane because they can at least write Barbara off the show or limit her no screentime — Iris is canon, and they are forced into boring the shit out of the audience in the hopes she'll eventually catch on.
I find that the person who reviews The Flash grades it way too high while Gotham is graded too low. Then again, I think Gotham is a B+ show while The Flash is childish trash.
Not every resolution has to be a fist or gun fight. I liked it because it ran counter to my expectations but was completely logical, like Indy shooting the swordsman in Raiders.
You mention Gumball and I give you upvote.
If you try to plan your DVR recordings for Disney or Nick channels out more than 4 days, you may be in for a disappointment. I don't know how many times I set the DVR for something on Nick only to get 30 minutes of the Spongebob Squarepants Movie.
Yes,confirmed in the comments.
I thought that was McKinnon for like a full minute, reprising her pas de deux worth Carrey. I finally realized it wasn't her when the dancing was too good for someone untrained.
Because ladies, the ball is in your court.
There were a couple of later episodes of Suburgatory where she looked almost skeletal. Her face looked a skosh healthier as Evvy. Or maybe I was distracted by the wig.
That was the funniest throwaway line, but "Lizbo" got the buggest laughs from me.
Lainey wasn't in a bikini for two scenes. The first one went on forever with the camera leering on her the whole time.
Exactly what a Nielsen viewer would say.
You probably neglected to watch Selfie as well. Both Emily Kapnek shows I miss dearly.
Aw, I don't think you suck. Except maybe at spelling "Optmis Prime". Did the younger Adam do that on purpose?
I was waiting for a cat fight between Evvy and Lainey at the dance. The ending with Garlin's son way way funnier.
I must say, I marveled at how home made Pops' "Optmis Prime" costume looked. A lot of shows have costumes that look way too polished to be plausible (see: almost any Halloween episode of any show). Even though it looked good from afar, you could clearly see the leftover junk parts that were use to assemble it in the…
Lainey is appropriately attainable for Barry. I'm glad they didn't cast some cookie cutter cheerleader type for the role.
It has to do with Song of the Sea being this year's The Secret of Kells. Haven't watch the former, hopefully not as snoozy as the latter.
Not all of us watch both shows and the review itself is written as two separate ones anyway.
