I often use the full contact car wash during winter and never had any issues. It may not be the best for the paint but it is still better than leaving the winter dirt on it.
Hand washing and claybarring my XC90 takes about 3 hours to do it right. I have kids and a life so if I can do it spring and fall I am lucky. There is no way I could do that several times a month, thats just silly.
IDGAF. There’s a touchless wash near me that works awesome. Plus it’s got the undercarriage wash which is awesome at keeping the salt and shit off the frame and body.
