I’d add a third option of, working on unreleased stuff, and you want to hear how it sounds in a car.

I have numerous thoughts. This probably doesn’t warrant the energy and consideration required for any of these but I am nothing if not a sucker for this crap so here goes.

Unless he’s A.) advertising himself or B.) internally critiquing his own work.

For those wondering: the “G” refers to the shape of the supercharger’s internals. 60 is for the supercharger’s 60 mm (2.36 in) diameter inlet.

So put ‘em in deceleration zones. Steep downhill stretches, offramps, etc.

Pretty much inline with my own experiences. Had a rental Clubman S All4 during my last work trip, and it was strong down low but ran out of breath up top. It was pretty hilarious to drift around in the snow with the traction control off.

I get that. I drove the old Countryman S auto with awd. That thng was gutless of the line. I would like to try the new one.

I somehow feel guilty that I actually like this thing. Yes, it’s kind of a creeping betrayal of the original Mini ethos, and it’s not like the world needs another crossover.

It only calls for 87-octane while the same engine in the BMW with 228 HP requires 91.

You’ve obviously never actually drove a true land yacht either if you think a CV or Marauder drives like one.

I’m a Panther fan for two reasons:

Fuck that noise. Negra Modelo or GTFO.

Yes and no. Harder than back in the 70s? Yes.

What a hat!
I like it!
I like that party hat!
Good-by!

The 6 is actually fantastically light and flickable for a midsize car, and very communicative.

Haven test driven both, I can say the Regal is a bit roomier inside, especially in the shoulders/hips. Can’t remember being particularly impressed with either though.
