I drove my ‘79 Trans Am in the rain for years with the scoop opened up without any issues. I loved watching the rain turn sideways and go into the scoop. The engine in that thing was spotless inside. I had one of those bore cams that went into the spark plug hole and seeing the almost clean pistons on a car with 75K

“Vut does this do?”

So a 78 Wagoneer in a film depicting 1987?

Or have a govt regulation that says night time tail lights can’t be stoopid bright. There’s some cars — Dodges and Caddys mainly, I think — that have the brightest tail lights on the planet. So if you’re behind them on a dark highway, you’re basically blind because you have a bajillion lumens pointed straight at your

I’m going to say it’s the rear upper control arm from a fox body Mustang. The wheel he’s working on is unmistakable as what came on the late 80's 4cyl LX Mustangs.

If you read the words after “lack of refresh” I went on to explain that it has barely moved in the power department in the last 12 years while the mustang has added 135hp, as well as a multitude of handling/other upgrades. The only thing the 370z got over the 350z was basically a cosmetic refresh.

My neighbor’s kids and all their crap thrown around their yard is an eyesore but I feel I wouldn’t be successful in fighting that. They spend most of the summer months screaming to the point neighbors houses away tell them to be quiet.

so remove something that looks fine now but could possibly not be maintained at some point in the future because.....

I’m in the woods in a lake community. Drive around and you see extravagant homes with cars in the driveway that cost more than my house. Across the street is a house with more appliances on his lawn than PC Richard. One even has a shipping container. Everyone seems to get along and they just go on with their day.

Show me a 2007 Mazda 3 or Ford Focus that isn’t rusting or undermaintained, and selling for $500.

Yup. I drive a 2000 Forester not because I want to, but because a 2008 Legacy Wagon couldn’t be found in my price range. And I mention the 2008 Legacy Wagon because newer cars are uglier and the price went from “well, maybe” to “haha, no.”

“Because they can afford it” is not justification for taking it from them.

Then that person would be attached to another object by an incline plane wrapped helically around an axis.

This committee is 4 Dem’s and 5 Republican’s, so for it to hit the floor at least one Republican would need to vote for it. I can’t find the vote total anywhere, and it makes me wonder if this is being pushed by something else, not a revenue generation.

Don’t get on the “Left Coast” argument too fast. This committee that sponsored this bill is 4 Dem’s and 5 Republicans. I’m thinking there is more to this argument then meets the eye. I wonder if it’s more of a business measure, and not a revenue generation measure.

Here is the make up:

When someone calls the Zastava Koral/Yugo a bad car, they really should add “in America” to that statement.

You need to make an exception for the Ford Pinto Wagon. That thing had the extra room in its rear to negate snapping the fuel tank neck and forcing the diff into the gas tank during a rear end collision. The wagon variant should not be crucified with its hatchback sibling.

Yup. Deadlines are made to be missed. I’m just about done with the total restoration of my 1970 Camaro, and should have it complete and ready to go for Power Tour this June. Which isn’t too bad, considering my original deadline was Power Tour 2010.

So....... you aren’t married I take it...

Remember a disaster called “Cash for Clunkers”? That’s where they are. Dead. Garbage. Recycled.
