Depending on the location, that may well be an ok price. On the first gen Mazda 3, you have to remove half the dashboard on the passenger side. Took me 2.5 hours the first time I did it and I haven’t done it since even though it’s probably filthy. Such a PITA.

We did look at a lightly used fx35, but he wants a new car, and he had to recline pretty significantly because the seat height was weirdly high. It also had a kind of aggressive driving character which I liked, but he didn’t. If the car was for me, I’d rather have a used or CPO macan or fx for 40 grand.
