In Toyota’s lineup its a solid 7, in the real world its a generous 4.

There’s probably some plastic around that would warp, too.

a half inch of snow.... honestly if in those states people even bothered with decent all season tires they would not have problems. but then here in florida driving on tires with actual treads is considered a waste. you dont change your tires in the south until you see cords.

Right?? Are these going to be a factory option soon as well?

Dude, at LEAST zip tie it to the ACTUAL “tow hook” under the car that it’s nearly touching....

My wife keeps asking me what I want for my 30th. I think I may have found the answer.

Basically, this video is what you would expect from an uninformed middle school student that did about a minute and a half of Google Images searching and threw together a video at the last minute for some sort of a class presentation on the history of automotive aerodynamics.

As fuel economy requirement went up companies were forced to test cars in wind tunnels to reduce drag and increase mileage. Now there is basically one sedan shape, an SUV shape, a coupe shape that works in a wind tunnel. Modern car design is basically done by bureaucrat safety regulators and wind tunnels. Then

“...nobody was building cars that looked like 1930s cars in the 1960s.”

Ugh... I guess I’ll wade into this mess.

Yeah, that’s my feeling too. It’s like the JD Power Initial Quality award. That really doesn’t mean anything. It’s easy to have the appearance of quality when brand-new. Give it 5-10 years. That’s when quality really is apparent.

I’m glad they’re evaluating the performance and technology of each engine, but what about longevity? I prefer engines that don’t come from the factory with a common detonator issue, like main bearings that fail, or a chain tensioner that comes loose, or a failed oil pump, or a bad seal or a laundry list of bad

3 spokes = 3 = Half Life 3 confirmed

I do like the Kizashi, but the AWD only came with the CVT

“Oh man, you trusted someone once? You’re an idiot.”

I too am an engineer!

I respect the kid for putting so much blame on himself for loaning them the car. His friends really should take all the blame IMO.

Don’t build bridges, drive them

The current Ford Shelby GT-350 makes 102 hp / liter from a 5.2L V8. Its volumetric efficiency is 110% (thanks to camshaft phasing, acoustic tuning and minimal flow losses).

It is naturally-aspirated and uses a flat plane crank. It also revs to 8,250 rpm. Yep. Americans are lazy and we never engineer anything good.

V8s

What is with this mentality that Vortex exhibits? Do they not understand that other people simply have different priorities and tastes? It’s so bizarre. And what do they mean by “inferiority complex”? I want to deconstruct this shit. How is a V8 compensating for anything? It’s not the power aspect, because I’m sure
