load times actually mater. A lot of game design currently is working around loading zones and texture pop in.  Eliminating that is actually quite interesting from a dev standpoint, and changes how levels and textures are designed. 

The new shotgun is a viable alternative. You can’t one shot but it’s pretty lethal. As a non imperative player I’m very happy with this change.

I think I’m gonna take this advice and play some D&D with my kids. They're at the right age, and interested in all the tangentially related culture. I honestly never thought of this before.

There are many people who might read it though and have it end up being the impetus for them to step back for a moment and reevaluate their gaming. “Am I actually having fun?” Some people will continue to beat their heads against the wall.
