So much stupid in this comment.
Agreed. I am a Yankees fan, but this is just good fun all around.
We should start by banning the NRA.
Hi, Ddawn23. I think we’re not on the same page. I am not referring to the women in the article. I’ll repeat what I’ve said elsewhere in these comments and say that I think it’s highly likely that these women were unfairly targeted. My comment above that you’re referencing is about the people in the comments here…
No, you said, “people are allowed to laugh and enjoy themselves.” But in reality, if your laughter/enjoyment is so loud that you’re disruptive to everyone else and you are asked to leave, then it isn’t allowed.
I agree
If someone makes a blanket statement about bars and how it’s always okay to be loud in them, and I respond to it, that’s the context in which you should consider my response. People have suggested in this thread that because this is a bar, it cannot be possible that being loud is inappropriate, which is both a stupid…
Alright, well you seemingly have an axe to grind and don’t care where you stick it. I agree that it seems likely this was racially motivated. At this point it is he-said, she-said, but again, I agree the most likely scenario is that they were unfairly targeted. All of this aside, the fact remains that just because a…
If you read my other comments on this article, you’d see that I agree this was most likely racially motivated. This comment of mine that you are replying to is specifically in response to AMC who said “if ever there was a place for people to be loud...” There are a lot of people here that seem to share this opinion,…
I am with you 100%. My gut reaction is that these women were discriminated against. It seems like the a reasonableness likelihood and it’s not remotely difficult to imagine a group of white women given a free pass for equivalent or worse behavior.
You and so many people in this thread: “it’s a BAR!!! They can do whatever they want.”
Which would be fine, if the operators of the train agreed. But they didn't. They kicked these people off. So... Just because you think a wine train is a place to be as loud as you want, it doesn't magically make it so.
People are jumping all over you for this, but you are absolutely right. It’s not just laughter. Some people are just obnoxiously loud. If you have a group of obnoxiously loud people together and none of them are aware that they are obnoxiously loud, it causes a problem for all the other customers. Yes, even at bars.…
Throw a rock in any direction.
Ughhhhhhhhhh
Sounds like pretty much everyone in this story sucks.
I’m not lying, but okay. I was not the one who “purchased” the membership, so I’m lacking some details on that front. If what you say is true, then he didn’t need to pay to sign her up. She was still listed as a member. Regardless... How does this affect the point I was trying to make?? There are people on there who…
It’s a site used for cheating, or whatever anyone wants to use it for. I’m not on the site personally, but I think it’s pointless to pretend we know how/why everyone uses the service. Just because it says it’s for cheating doesn’t mean that’s the only people that use it. I know more than a few Catholics on J-date and…
