Well... Whether you're interested or not, it's pretty common for someone to play a character that's within five years of their real life age. It's not wrong or untrue. It's pretty much the premise of acting... People pretending to be something they are not.

It may shock you to hear this, but actors will sometimes portray characters that differ ever so slightly from themselves.

I don't understand why this concept always confuses people.
