The show has only revealed its first mystery: the “what”, or the nature of the sitcom reality and what’s actually happening in the real world. We’re now embarking on its second act - the new mystery is the “why”. Why is Wanda doing this? Did she start it herself or is it something that’s being done to her, and she’s a

I’m betting “for the children” is going to become very ominous. Notice that the talent show is apparently “for the children”, but we haven’t seen any children at all yet? And the other cast members keep making jokes or references to how Wanda and Vision don’t have children. Wanda’s sudden pregnancy is her direct

No network to insist that the credits be as short as possible to make room for more ads, or squashed into the corner of the screen while a trailer plays. They can take as long as they like, do flashy movie-style “pre-credits”, slow it down so that you can actually read all of the names...

Same thing happened with The Mandalorian, which was a genuine attempt to do a Western (different shades of Western, in fact) in every episode - every single comments thread began with a massive argument between people who thought it was “boring” and “lacked character development” because they were impatiently waiting

Classic 50s and 60s American sitcoms were shown and repeated many times on UK TV channels from around the 1980s onwards. You don’t see much of them any more on TV in the UK outside of speciality satellite/cable channels, though, and thanks to the multi-channel digital TV era, you can’t guarantee that a large chunk of

The last thing I saw Katee Sackhoff in was The Flash, where she puts on a ridiculously terrible British accent of some kind, so I didn’t even have the voice clue to go on.

I read “These are trying times” as “we’ve definitely got better things to do than try to take in this Mandalorian, who will probably kick both of our asses anyway”. Their mission is to find Imperial holdouts, and there are lots of mitigating factors (that they list) which means that Mando isn’t exactly Public Enemy

Tank? It’s going to go way, way up. What do you think people have been doing all day locked in their own homes?

I think it definitely shows - look at how much effort has been put into the costumes, sets and locations, it blows the CW’s Arrowverse shows out of the water in overall “look and feel” quality, but doesn’t hold a candle to their fight choreography.

I don’t know how much more obvious it needs to be. They’re obviously a priesthood, wandering around in cassocks, and in this episode they basically go through a leadership selection process very similar to that of the Catholic church, with the ritual burning of paper slips etc.

The bus was also an American (left-hand drive) model; a bus in England would have the driver’s seat on the right and the doors on the left side. I know they made a crack about Mick driving “on the wrong side of the road”, but that’s obligatory whenever American characters drive something in the UK.

Chyler Leigh has said in interviews that her costume designers took great pains to make sure she didn’t look like anyone else in the Arrowverse, and I have to agree that it was the right thing to do. With the black leather, a domino mask would have made her look like she’d raided Juliana Harkavy’s wardrobe.

Ollie didn’t collapse the multiverse or kill anybody. The multiverse was already destroyed by the antimatter wave - he enabled the paragons to rebuild a single universe, Earth-Prime, which became an amalgamation of Earth-1 and Earth-38 as the paragons were from both of those Earths. Nobody got “smooshed together”

Agent Everyone Forgets When Not On Screen

He hasn’t been given very much to do for at least two years. You could argue that his original role - father-figure and common-sense sounding board for Barry - isn’t as necessary now that we’re six seasons in, with all of the character development that implies. But then I’m not sure I’d say that Barry has really outgro

Yes - it feels like the writers don’t really understand how online games work and how a system as open as Obsidian’s would be immediately ruined by thousands of trolls and griefers. You can create your own content, hijack the nervous system of anyone who enters it, lock out key system functions like the escape button..

Nia’s pep talk with her roomie felt way more authentic and “real” than either of the two Kara-Nia Speeches of Hope and Compassion that we got in this episode (back to back!). Maybe it was simply the fact that it was two trans actors talking about an issue that’s definitely not fictional.

She slows down time within the “bubble” that she traps people in. From the outside, only a second passes, but inside the bubble they experience years passing. Eventually they die of hunger/thirst after a short time but then they stay there decomposing into “mummies”.

Yes! Just perfect, of course that’s how you magically yeet an Englishman... :)

My theory on why Thawne-as-Wells is treated like he’s the actual Earth-1/Prime Harrison Wells is that alternate-Earth doppelgangers don’t necessarily have to be the same person even if they have the same face. Like how E1 Henry Allen, E3 Jay Garrick and E90 Barry Allen all look like popular actor John Wesley Shipp,
