Actually this is pretty basic. The handling shown in Windows 10 is much improved compared to this. I would imagine they will get there eventually, but MS has been iterating on Snap since Windows Vista. The “suggested window” feature is definitely welcome.

Having to hold the zoom button while dragging to snap doesn’t seem very intuitive at all. I would have imagined it would have worked just like it does in Windows—drag anywhere and snap. Is this not the case?

Did you watch the keynote? Everything they “copied” was then almost immediately followed by trashing the competition. The hubris is what pisses people off.
