CA is a huge state so with the exception of crunchy assholes and crazy evangelicals, most people in CA are still vaccinating their kids. This outbreak, however, is occurring in the NorCal/SFO area, one of the anti-vax nonsense epicenters, so it's not unreasonable to wonder if there is a connection.
