Fantastic article and fantastic episode. I would add that women on Grey's Anatomy are allowed to have diverse looks and complex personalities. Women who are not "slim" are portrayed as beautiful and sexy as the ones who sport a more typical hollywood figure. There are also a number of ages and races represented.
