If you are still playing (and paying) for Fallout 76 then you get what you deserve. I got no sympathy for you.

Watch “Starcraft Ghost - What Happened?” for the full history, but basically it was supposed to release late 2003 and suffered a lot of delays and identity crisis. That's why it was never released.

It’s less about gamers being impatient and more about the management/investors being impatient.

And that’s why Activision is second only to EA when it comes to being the worst game company out there. Never forget the same people will charge by the bullet if they can get away with it.

I swear Microsoft is hell bent to make differentiating between their consoles as awkward and confusing as possible.

This is why you don’t plagiarize others work (aside from the moral reasons), because you are just going to get caught sooner or later. And when that eventually happens you are so f***ed.

If you play with fire then don’t cry when you get burned like anybody else.

Exactly my first thought upon reading the headline XD

What do they even mean by “security concerns”? Between this and sending hired goons after people irl you’d think they were handling state secrets not a faking videogame.

It just wouldn't be a modern triple A game without over complicated reward systems and multiple currencies.

And good on them. Like with that ad in Cyberpunk if such a small inconsequential thing that players will barely, if ever, see bothers people so much that it ruins the whole game for them, well that is on them. Either just ignore it and enjoy the game or play something else.

While some people did takes things too far its disingenuous to act like gamers had no legitimate reasons for being angry. Or that the Ooblets devs didn’t exacerbate the situation by being condescending and dismissive to not just potential customers but their backers as well. Taking Epic exclusivity will never be a

Think we can all see where this is going. RIP Halo

Maybe don’t address your backers/potential customers like a patronizing ***hole and they won’t be angry at you. Just a suggestion.

But it’s not an exploit, it’s a surprise time saver! And Ubisoft doesn’t have a problem with time savers in their game ;)

And if you actually believe that a company/CEO (any of them) is doing anything for altruistic reasons over profits then boy do I have a nice bridge for sale you might be interested in. I’ll even give a portion of the money to charity, you can take my word for it! ;D

Yeah and how many of them are doing it because they are paid influencers and/or those opening videos draw in tons of views.

Just further reinforcing my decision to abandon Battle.net and Blizzard in general. They have nothing to look forward to, just them whoring out to the Chinese mobile market. How the mighty have fallen.

Living alone probably has a part in it. If it’s just one or two people then it can just be faster/easier to eat things like that over preparing a meal with fresh ingredients. As someone who basically lives alone its simply faster (and cheaper) to grab some fast food or prepackaged meals.

I might not have as big an issue with the situation if Epic was a comparable alternative as a platform. Sure “eventually” it may add more features (like a bloody shopping cart) but right now all it does is hold games ransom by shackling them to an objectively worse platform for the end user. I’m all for devs getting a
