I managed to sneak 2 hours in last night before needing to sleep before work, tonight I’ll definitely give it a proper shot.
However, early in it’s pretty bland. I’m at least aware that almost every Bethesda game I can think of has a really boring opening quest (to the point that in Skyrim I would make a save right

I really want Armored Core 6 crossplay, 80% of the people I know that got it did so for PS5. The arena stuff is so fun, and I’d love to set up a king-of-the-hill match with my friends like we do with Soul Calibur.

Awesome!

I was in a checkout next to a either late teen or early 20's something dude. I could hear his annoyed sighs as the machine was screwing around barking orders at him, I turned and did my best “you must construct additional pylons!” impression.
Guy had is face in his hands trying not to laugh too hard in the store.
I feel

Had the same thing today, then went into my profile and checked my previous posts. They are there, and when I click them they show in the comment list after.

This game can very comfortably be both a binge and a passive.
I do ai arena and pvp on my lunch breaks, or even just a mission.
Other days I grind half the campaign on a new playthrough. It’s not as grandiose as Elden Ring, taking months to complete; I make it more akin to oldschool StarFox but with a save system, at

The one about quitting as soon as they saw mecha’s after buying it because it was from devs that made Elden Ring is batshit insane. You seriously managed to get all the way passed the purchase screen before finding this out?

When this was first announced I was stuck in a speculation loop with the thinking “how is this going to be done and fit with modern standards?” ie levels and not open world. I’ve always loved Armored Core games but couldn’t wrap my head around them pulling off a PS2/3 era playstyle (and for PS3 this was a niche title

I just saw that if you get all of the combat logs (hunter lvl 15) which requires getting to N++ (3rd playthrough) there is a Coral sword and its absolutely nuts, especially it’s reach.

Speaking of N+ playthroughs, I am absolutely loving the alternate options and extra missions that start popping up. Meeting different

A little tip I started using for the game overall:
-You can sell anything for the cost of buying it (with exception to some starter stuff that you can’t sell). This is useful early on to get the build you want and purge the stuff you aren’t using at the moment with no punitive rebuys.
However!
- Try farming a few

I too finally just cheesed the easy way through it, used smg’s for the hands though for constant fire, I hate using the treads though.
Im coming back to that one later for a proper fight with a more advanced AC.

Later on the higher tier shotguns become awesome. I even made a light AC with just two shotguns and no

Had it not been for Armored Core 6 I was probably going to get this on day 1 like I foolishly do for so many major RPG titles.
I know the irony of still getting AC6 on day one, but I already have plenty of evidence from the youtubers getting in early, and my day-1 experience with FromSoft in games in general.

This time

The worst spill of this kind that I’ve seen was outside my house: A dump truck carrying literal tons of fish-heads burst open and left a block long streak in a high traffic area. Cars kept moving through them so there was a constant crackle and pop of fish heads getting crushed by passing cars. The full block of gore

Really happy about this, I’ve done some self repairs with improvisation to extend the functionality of cheaper standard xbox controllers that despite me not using very often, had a tendency to die.
I have the Elite now and I love it, in fact I use controllers more often now on my PC because it is such an enjoyable

Ah, yeah a couple things when you get to paragon at 50.
- There are a few nodes in the paragon board that you place a rune in, these drop in nightmare dungeons.
-At the end of the dungeon, a sort of statue pops up surrounded in a bubble shield that protects you from any leftover enemies or dungeon affects, you use these

Not hardcore but i don’t just face-tank things until I die and repeat over and over.
In nightmare dungeons especially, there is a death limit before it just closes the dungeon and you lose out on finishing it to get the rune xp for the paragon board rune slots. Some dungeons have a death limit of 1.

The bosses for these

At level 80 now and run a nearly full lightning build. With an exception to Fire Shield.
Where fire-shield comes in very handy, especially early on with the right enchantments and aspects:
-Casting it recovers 50% of lost health (great on a first character when you dont have very many heal potions yet)
-once every 120

I tried it for a necro and it basically starts you at level 1, doing whispering favors, helltide etc. It was kind of boring that way. The campaign at least has a nice way of guiding you around the map, it gave me a lot more to do.
At about lvl 10 i deleted the necro and made one with campaign enabled and had way more

I have a physical reaction to crowds like this, even when seeing a photo like in the headline. It is akin to lifting a rock or piece of garbage, to find a crawling mass of squirming larvae. I am instantly filled with a combination of fear and disgust that locks my eyes on it with horror.
Add the claustrophobic effects

I’ve heard Foundation is in the same status as Dune for very early sci-fi that inspired the future of the genre. As a Dune fan, would anyone recommend this to me as some good watching. Might try to get to reading it but I already have a lineup of books im digging through, including re-reading Dune which I am already
