Even that took a few tries, at one point I was a bit heavy handed on the controls and accidentally dismounted at the worst time and was instantly smeared into paste.
Part of me justified it through the fact he is a General, and that your job is to lead the troops as if a General yourself. Riding around the map

After you beat him the lady in the room where you activate your Great Runes sells his armour and sword and I love it so much. The massive red plume on the helmet is fantastic, albiet a bit to get used to how much screen space it takes up at times.

Side note: I’m really liking how this game is not nescessarily following

I feel like I cheesed this boss fight after repeatedly failing to smash him with big weapons in attempts to do more damage.
Instead I rode around on horseback constantly reviving fellows in between quickly swapping to running on foot to dodge certain moves that track the horse too well. I got my character to the bare

There is an explanation option for stats etc which explains what they affect, but I definitely wish there was a way to know what active effects are doing which show as icons under your health/stamina etc.
I was one of those people that totally missed the combat tutorial but I’ve played souls games before so I didnt

I helped a friend on the first boss with my character that has now chewed through 4 main bosses and a plethora of other side-bosses etc, turns out your character gets scaled to the one you are helping and in the end while easier for my friend with my help was still bloody hard with the limitations applied to me after

Looks like they have a point above the death plane that forces the camera into a downward angle so as to follow the character down to add anticipation to the death rather than triggering it at the same time. So it’s pretty much intentional but just not ideally placed in that particular area.

That one took me out of a dark place of frustration after repeated attempts on a boss. The best  part is I read the message after attempting to talk to him, and thought “geeze, moody guy” and read “edge, lord” after and basically collapsed with laughter.

I was sooooo close to killing that first main boss, i think one or two hits would have worked and my stupid heart rate went up with excitement and I botched it, havent been able to get him down to even the last 25% since hahah, so I’ve gone about farming up levels for the time being.

Got it working last night on PC. Yeah there are occasional minor holds but so far has run well on a 1070gpu with i7 pc from 2016.
One issue we had among my friends was not detecting our xbox controllers, we found that disconnecting the mouse after launching the game works, seems the game is trying to sort a priority

Totally, when I first got Dark Souls I on PC (it was already an abysmal port as a first time attempt to get a Souls game on pc) at first it worked out ok, but as the game started having me fight more than one enemy at a time, moving the mouse would count as rapid stick-taps to left or right and so would cycle through

Last month I re-acclimated myself to souls games with Dark Souls 3, my first playthrough on PC release was more like a playquit. I started a new game recently after feeling lost on my old save and in a single sitting I got further than I had on my initial weeks of playing when I first bought it.
Using a controller

So about a week and a half of binging this as Deamon Prince, this game is a lot of fun aside from the rifts which are annoying but thanks to reddit there is a way to edit the game files to edit their frequency of appearance, including just setting it to 999 turns so that you just play a total war game as normal and

edit: nevermind i think I figured it out. Too bad I missed the sale where I could have gotten the first and second games for $20 each.

While they don’t like it much, as long as you aren’t dishing them out to people they can’t really stop you. The amount of effort into a good print doesn’t make this a huge enough problem for tabletop games, and the quality of mini’s from their stores is going to still be above what is ripped from a game (a 3d printer

My gaming group has been using Ram Ranch as a toxic counter-toxic when voice comms get flooded with homophobia for half a decade now. The fact that this is happening for the fucking truck convoy blows my mind. There is nothing more threatening to homophobes than the threat of homosexual themes applied to masculine

iRacing ai races have this “avoid contact” option which is so hilarious because you can drive from the back of the pack and power through it like you are parting the Red Sea. Turning it off though, I’m surprised how well the ai can vary on aggression, and it’s consistent. There will be that one car that is a total

Ok I got a bit confused about the “Take Down Rape Day” link on list of petitions and misread that there was a ‘Take Down: Rape Day’ as some successor to ‘Take Down: Red Sabre’, until I clicked the link and was reminded of the petition to remove that horrific pile of shit rape game. Confused panic averted, really

I dated a narcissist that threw her (non-shit-related) toilet paper behind the toilet rather than in it. This did still mean when she wiped after peeing she threw it back there. Every time she was over I would go in the bathroom and low-and-behold a fucking pile of used tp tossed deep behind the toilet.
This was still

oof, I’ve always wanted to hear the perspective of a person using a controller. It’s super rare to see but you can definitely tell when they are using one, just as you described, the wheels pop to a steering position. You would see that one car’s wheels rapidly popping to manage a corner, constantly in a battle with

This.
They want any intervention that makes them look like their message is being suppressed by the government. It’s a narcissist tactic: abuse a person to the brink and when they stand up for themselves or retort, tell people how abusive that person was in order to turn people on their victim.
