This article very quickly got get me addicted to this game.
Bought it about 10 minutes after reading and commenting. Fully into it.

I realize the hype has died down a bit for it, but I would love to see competitive Spintires/Mudrunner.

Empire has been on the ‘permanent install’ for over 12 years.
I initially was not interested in it as colonial warfare just didn’t sound fun to me. But I was wrong, and it is by far my favorite still.

Unfortunately, when that first pilot did it as a joke it ended up becoming the first communication with the UFOs that they keep encountering. Now every time the military is required to respond to them they have to draw a sky-penis and then say it was an accident.
This goes all the way to the top, people!

Every single time a puck hits the net behind the goal in hockey I am still reminded that it took what I recall was a 14 year old girl being killed on her birthday to get those nets built.

Headline image mislead me more on the game’s premise than the actual game does as far as the claims go (not defaming you, Luke. Just an observation I made as soon as I looked at the actual game.)

That’s exactly what you would get in a lot of those scenarios. You would be given a brief in the morning on how you need to visit the locals (or in this mods case, the family). That is all they would give you. Then you roll into town in an MRAP or Humvee with all it’s mundane boring routine to build complacency.…
