Comparable sized walk-in refrigerators seem to be selling in the $6,000 to $11,000 range, so it's in the right ballpark, and the black is a lot better looking than the commercial ones. If you're going that hardcore though, you'll probably want a few more taps (I know I would).

That's only silly because he doesn't have his hand out the window, holding down the load.

My pole... I think it just vaulted.

I agree. It's not like she has a commercial box truck at home that she could have used instead. It would be just as likely to come flying out of a truck bed as fall off her mustang. That said, it's pretty funny looking. I would have taken a picture too.

Thanks, I missed that.

I know we're all aware of what Blackwater did, but seeing those videos was sickening. The arrogance, the laughter, the blatant disregard... shameful.

As long as you're in So-Cal or Baja, I agree. For an urban pursuit, I'd go with the Knight Xv or something similar, so you could go right through the barricades and over the spike strips, bulletproof.

Good advice. The worst thing that could happen would be a family traveling together. The last flight I was on, the parents put their annoying second kid in the row in front of them, right between a couple. There was lots of crying.

Thanks for the advice. My wife filed a claim with her auto insurance company, and amazingly enough, they're going to cover it (minus deductible). Thanks to everyone except jalopjeff!

As a former service advisor, do you think we have a chance of getting this paid for if we complain loudly enough?

I guess you're right. Call me old-fashioned, but I like my less than four year old cars free of major corrosion, so I don't think we'll be buying from the BMW family again.

I wouldn't pretend to know what the issues are, but you might want to ask jalopjeff, as he has WORKED with BMW (just kidding). But I had heard the same things, and we were starting to sour on the MINI even before this happened.

Kind of makes you miss Billy Mays, doesn't it? I can just hear him, narrating/ screaming about how "NOT EVEN A MILLION BUGS, FIRED AT 100 MILES AN HOUR, CAN OUTLAST THE WHATEVER-I'M-SELLING!"

Thanks! After reading your reply, it was obvious. On a side note, he looks like he is enjoying that very much.

Why would you say that? What would I be hiding? I find your reply kind of insulting. I have nothing to gain by posting the above comment, I'm just honestly frustrated at this situation my wife's in.

Sounds good! You must be having a busy day, what with all the replies.

The magic word: corrosion. Even though it was the seal that broke, it was the corrosion that caused the damage to the electrical system. Bullshit, of course. I'm of the mind to try and fight it, but she just wants to get it over with and get her car back (so she can sell it). After carefully reading the extended

I'm sorry, but fuck Mini. My wife's 2008 Cooper S is at the dealership right now. A seal ruptured and allowed water into the electrical box, causing corrosion, which caused her anti-lock brakes and traction control to fail. Despite having the extended warranty and still being under the manufacturer's warranty, it's

What is the cannon that Billy Mays is firing maniacally in the first picture?

And some of the chewing tobacco he was so bravely providing the wounded soldiers.
