Awww. These poor people. I especially feel bad for the idiot who paid $35,000 for books.
The track and real life are 2 different things most of the time. Stewart is well known for doing everything in his power for racers and their families off track.
Kevin Ward killed himself. You're an idiot if you believe otherwise.
I cannot imagine how much that has meant to this family. RIP Justin Wilson
Tony Stewart has done a lot behind the scenes for people. Things he’s never gotten publicity for, or wanted. Some people don’t need the limelight on them when they do something good.
To borrow a phrase from JW’s home county. I am utterly gobsmacked that people are on here giving Tony Stewart shit.
Kudos, Tony Stewart!
If this were a private data dump of women or LGBT, the treatment by gawker media would be 180 degrees different.
Oh look, someone invited the sex hipster.
No, but Jimbo Fisher’s divorce was due to his wife banging a former Florida player.
“The problem with this ban is that it doesn’t actually accomplish what it allegedly sets out to.”
The point of this policy is to control and corral players and increase the power that coaches hold over them.
so wait, you’re out here to inform the world that college football coaches tend to be an excitable, intense sort? Nobody would've ever guessed that.
When I was a college coach, I cannot tell you how much I would have loved to ban all our players from social media. I don’t say that because I was concerned about the team interacting with and seeing negative press. Mostly I say that because social media gives rise to a whole host of problems that can fuck with team…
Honestly, I can’t fault the team for doing this. You’ve got a hundred or so teenagers/young adults who (at varying degrees) don’t quite grasp that a twitter account shouldn’t act as an unfiltered stream of thought. And then the media (this site included) is waiting in the wings ready to crucify anyone who missteps.…
I agree. And this sort of lockdown hurts the Gawker bottom-line, as when kids do stupid, newsworthy things online, Gawker makes money.
I think it’s more of a preemptive strike to any dumb controversies that may arise via social media than it is a power play by Dabo. Blaming big, bad coaches is fun but you’re reaching here.
Considering the PC police will turn dumb ass, snarky, etc comments into national outrage, it kinda makes sense.
I dunno. If there’s anything that Bill Cosby, Terrence Howard, Floyd Mayweather and Adrian Peterson can teach us, it’s that you can abuse as many people as your heart desires so long as you’re making powerful folk lots and lots of money.
