They aren’t at all the same. In Dark Souls series/Bloodbourne you have constant control over your weapon. You can cancel out of many animations and roll pretty much any time (to my mind, granted with much more experience with DS). In MHW (I have played no other games in the series) you better be damn sure about that…

Yes, you should have paid more for an IPS (or VA) panel. TN looks like absolute trash in comparison. If you do end up getting something with G-Sync /don’t/ get a TN.

The lead in image/GIF was... terrible. I could tell it was CGI when it was small. Some of the others were better, but honestly? This guy is talented, certainly better than me when it comes to modeling, but trying to pass this off as photo-realistic is laughable.
