Dabney Coleman was robbed of the Oscar that year

Cartilage Head, huh. I really wasn’t ready for that this week.

A friend of mine is soft-opening his brewery very soon, and told me straight up he wouldn’t survive if he didn’t have at least 50% of his offerings be IPAs. I currently live in San Diego and it’s a haven (or in my case as an IPA hater, a hellscape) for beer drinkers who are into that kind of thing. I don’t find them

Shakes the Clown” wasn’t great, but it showed flashes of brilliance. Also, my 14 year old self thought Bobcat’s scenes in the Godzilla suit in “One Crazy Summer” were the height of comedy.

It works in Spider Man and Hogwarts because there are still traditional elements, especially in the case of Hogwarts which has a lot of very impressive animatronic work, though the screens are still the weakest part.

There’s nothing about this that caps wages. Several cities on the West Coast don’t allow servers to be paid a discounted wage, and people still tip there.

Her last words were “I know you are here to kill me. Shoot, coward! You are only going to kill a gorilla!”

Yeah, what has gone wrong with Universal? Why have they lost all taste for making actual rides and now every new attraction is just screens?

The Texas Bun Depository?

We had a restaurant with rules like this in VA, and trust me, it wasn’t about religion. It was targeting black people. If a certain style of clothing / accessories was favored by the hip hop scene, they banned it. When asked about the policy, they cited ‘gang’ reasons.

That’s what I love about these high school coming-of-age movies, man. I get older, they stay the same age.

“You know usually when you’re talking about inflation, you guys, you probably notice, you know, is that a good thing or ... not a good thing?”

That’s actually kinda true. Mark Dippe was a VFX Animator and supervisor at ILM. Steve Williams was ALSO a VFX Supe and friends w/ McFarlane. So Dippe got to direct, Williams got to be VFX Supe, Clint Goldman, an VFX Producer at ILM, got to produce. AND the lions share of the FX went to ILM (mostly, as you state, the

There was a time when I kiiiinda apologized that movie with “It’s a big screen adaptation of the 60s TV show”. Then I rewatched the 60s TV show and nope, B&R isn’t nearly as clever or self-aware as that.

If I find this somewhere I’ll try it, but I hate when breweries (and any other kind of business) have a name you can’t figure out how to pronounce. It just seems like poor marketing. Can we get a phonetic spelling?

There needs to be a Thor spinoff with Valkyrie and Lady Sif, and Kat Dennings as their sidekick.

Ha HA! Unexpected revival.

Awful news. RIP

You only expend fuel in space if you’re accelerating, decelerating, or changing direction, so it’s at least conceivable that they aimed the Falcon in the direction of Cloud City & coasted there. Speaking of which, that the plot of Ep 8 basically revolves around a fundamental misunderstanding of inertia really does bug
