It would be interesting if people taught this behavior to all of the other elephants with her and see if their behavior changes.

I’ve always wondered why developers didn’t look at Spore’s procedural elements — creatures, cities, worlds, etc — and expand on that further. Sure, Spore was rough around the edges, but it had a LOT of potential as a way of filling a world or many worlds with a level of diversity unachievable by any other means.
What’s so thoroughly fascinating about this is that the elephant clearly observed the human actions of ‘peeling’ the banana, and then extrapolated the nature of those actions to fit limitations of her own capabilities.
They’re also using this process to rip off actors and other residuals-based performers.
Starship’s cargo capacity and size could allow us to build hab-ring stations in orbit, and *from* there, build (or move) full-on manufacturing in space, because hab-ring stations resolve the principle issue with manufacturing in space — gravity. As an added bonus, in space, solar energy is plentiful all day long, and…
...absolutely none of that is true. That’s simply not how the relevant IP laws work. Which you’d know, if you had any idea how the industry works....
And I’m going to guess this is also seven times that cops got away with murder.
Covid-relief funds sent to people in need, instead of embezzled by well-off or wealthy assholes who felt more entitled to it than people in need, was overwhelmingly used by those people to pay for basic necessities, like food, rent, utilities, and things of that nature. The assertion that ‘handouts’ to the poor are…
Minsc. Definitely Minsc. Because, well, Minsc comes with Boo. Or the adventures of how Minsc and Boo hooked up! It could be like a buddy cop theme, with Boo providing the knowing camera glances to Minsc’s frequent comedic relief.
I’m all for giving black people the ‘generational wealth’ that the rest of America has spent decades systematically denying or outright stealing from them, but I’d also REALLY like for some serious effort put into tackling and ultimately tearing down the systemic racism that created this mess in the first place.…
That’s because IP laws are, by and large, only enforced between big businesses and corporations. Independent creators are constantly getting screwed over by the laws that were supposed to protect them because protecting them interferes with corporate stock values, and when push comes to shove, that’s pretty much the…
The Republican definition of ‘freedom’ is being ‘free’ to join them as allies or die as enemies.
This sure seems like FELONY endangerment — the depraved indifference to human life, creating a grave risk of death to another person.
Hell, Nintendo should be *THANKING* him for not only creating a testbed for a multiplayer Zelda concept for free, but for also proving, without any cost to Nintendo, that the concept has enough appeal to be a commercially viable product. This is literally the definition of a win-win scenario. It costs Nintendo nothing…
Because of course they are — anything that doesn’t fall within the acceptable bounds of their Republican dogmatic ignorance is taken as a threat to their beliefs and must be attacked and destroyed at all cost. They were happily willing to send over a million Americans to their death to preserve their lunatic adherence…
..their constituents have no representation in Tennessee’s General Assembly.
Should anyone believe that white people will rule against a white former president to set a precedent that former presidents can be held accountable, no matter how blatant (and belligerent) their crimes? I mean, American history has a pretty strong track record about holding white people like that accountable, and…
Google doesn’t want to get rid of cookies. And Google won’t, because that’s not what they want. What Google wants to do is *MONOPOLIZE* their functionality. They want to be the sole gatekeepers of data-scraping systems, so that nobody else can do it without paying Google for temporary permission.
People do not ascend to the highest offices of power, nor to the upper echelons of economic power, by having scruples, and Clarence Thomas is no exception. On the contrary, they achieve such feats almost universally due to a lack ethics or morals, whether they never had them in the first place or gradually discarded…
