A stopped clock may be right twice a day, but that hardly makes it a good way of telling time...

I always thought Person of Interest ended on the perfect note to continue the series with a different focus — the blending of people and machine. That was the point of Root’s speech at the end, that the people the machine knows best really can’t die. They are eternal, perfectly simulated. And one day, when the

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that the Democratic party of yesteryear *WAS* the super-racist party. At least until they do shit like that. Of course, the party stopped being racist enough for super-racists party members, so they broke off to form the GOP and took over the Republican party. The result: the Racist party

The Square Enix was an inevitable train wreck from the moment the Square and Enix merged. It was a doomed effort from the start because of how the merger went down, specifically the execs who remained with the company. When a company is having problems, the most likely cause is the *execs*, so keeping them on is like

The thing about making a deal with the Devil, Mr. Roberts, is that the Devil *ALWAYS* collects.

Of all the shows I wished I could write for, Stargate — any of the shows, really — was at the top. There was always something to explore, some idea to press on, *something* to dump into the water to see if it floats or sinks.

It’s a bit like building the roof while the foundation is still being drawn up.

...and to add insult to injury, somehow achieve even the slightest measure of success despite it.

Conspiracy dumpster fires.

Makes threat if someone doesn’t cow to their demands. *FREQUENTLY* uses violence to back up those threats.

Democrats want to do something to deal the country’s dependence on foreign companies, nations, etc. But that would make Democrats look effective. So the Republicans once again unite to ensure nothing of the sort can happen. Republicans being a-holes — it’s as “American” as baseball and apple pie.

Yup. Socialism is only wrong when the money isn’t being given to the ‘right’ rich people.

I second that. The Legends were the best part of DC’s TV line up. Nobody else even comes close.

And is the judge prescribing the same ‘prudence’ to his *OWN* political affiliations?? You know, impartiality and all that.

I was going to say “You’re barking up the wrong tree, morons. You want someone to protest, go find Manchin and Sinema. They’re the obstructionists. Not Schumer.”

It *looks* like it could be a fun movie, but I’ve seen previews frame pieces of a movie in deceptive ways. Am I likely to go see it in a theater? No, probably not. But will I stream it at some point in the future? I’d give that a 95% chance.

In both instances, Tala Ashe nails the role.

Don’t worry. I’m sure he’ll be assigned mandatory insensitivity training before being put back on the job somewhere nearby. Wouldn’t want to greatly inconvenience a fellow ‘officer of the law’ or anything. The Police Union will see to it personally. Have to keep those union dues flowing.

As wind and solar help out the stressed-out grid, Republicans are eager to point out their flaws.

My friends’ orange tabby — who is often called Bot (take a guess what I say it stands for) — is definitely the friendliest and most vocal cat I’ve ever met. He’ll stop *eating* just to get some attention. And if he wants something, he let’s everyone in the whole house know it (usually he wants to go play outside).
