Diablo IV Won’t Be Anything Like Diablo Immortal, Blizzard Promises
I’m of two minds on this issue (though not in equal proportions). There’s the obvious hostility I have, which is well-earned, and I feel no particular need to elaborate on, since there’s nothing I can say that hasn’t been said by a thousand other people.
The economy inflated as a consequence of a series of massive get-rich-quick scams (crypto being a big one), which produced nothing more than the illusion of wealth, which duped people into believing their ‘money’ was working for them. Guess what happens when people start withdrawing wealth that never existed in the…
I’m not saying it’s a problem. I’m just saying the typical character style doesn’t exactly lend itself to readily identifiable genders. If you think that’s a problem, that’s on you.
Given the genre’s penchant for androgynous males, even if then, you can’t *really* be sure.
“...live a longer, healthier life.”
“Screw everyone and everything. We want to make money.” That’s the GOP slogan. So almost, but not quite.
“Screw public health. We want to make money!”
Well, if it allows future Creation-Engine games to have internet/lan co-op capabilities (that don’t suck), all their effort won’t be for nothing at least. Unfortunately, my suspicion is that it will not, and all the effort wrangling multiplayer into the creation engine will have been largely for nothing.
Sleazy, wealthy people do sleazy-wealthy-people things, making other sleazy, wealthy people angry that they didn’t get to do their sleazy-wealthy-people things, too/instead.
Uvalde had armed ‘response’ personnel *ON SITE*. Tell me again how much help they were at stopping a mass shooting. Right. None. As opposed to tasing, attacking, abusing, and other acts of violence and oppression against not-white children, as well as fostering a hostile environment that is antithetical to education.…
NRA and logic don’t really belong together. :P
It’s another interesting disparity in response regarding shooters who are taken in alive versus those killed on the scene.
Say it loud and never forget — the *ONLY* instance of objectively real and significant vote fraud was done by USPS president Louis DeJoy, on behalf and at the behest of former president Donald Trump, to make mail-in votes disappear — votes that both individuals knew would overwhelmingly be from and for democrats.
The thing is, at least from my understanding of the memo, he was referring to management doing the WFH thing. And he was accidentally correct, after a fashion. Management is generally useless, no matter where they work or how many hours they put in, and this is especially true of upper management. The whole ‘work from…
Decisions, decisions...
And yet, they and their supporters will also howl, without the hesitation, about how ‘life is sacred’ and ‘abortions are murder.’
Yes, but to what *end*? The ultimate goal of all of this is votes. And how will a debate change any of that? You’ve got three camps of people: the ones who absolutely won’t vote for Warnock, no matter what, the people who don’t care that Walker is a buffoon and will still vote for him, and everyone else who are…
I’ not sure I see the point in a debate. Walker is so far out of his element, he might as well be in another universe. Which is where the people who will vote for him are coming from, too. They will see and hear what they want to see and hear to reaffirm their preexisting bias against ‘the other’ who they’ve been…
I miss that game often. All the characters were all wonderfully well done, diverse, and fun to play.
