I think companies need to be penalized for reporting false flags. That is the only way this kind of things are less likely to happen.
I read a book by a SF (Delta Force) soldier who actually used these things in the Gulf war and he hated them . 2WD, bogged down as soon as it saw sand and the VW sourced engines were way underpowered and failled all the time.
It’s a great concept combined with airborne assaults. Think of 600 guys dropping and and able to assemble fast, which will be the true advantage of this, then maneuver fast as a unit. It absolutely will make an airborne assault more formidable.
if it doesn't burn JP8 the army won't buy it in any significant quantities. the logistic tail cost of having to provide a second type of fuel is just too long.
Life imitates art?
And in under 2 tears it loses its better strike aircraft than Eurofighter reputation. As soon as Storm Shadow and Brimstone are integrated. Typhoon will also be carrying superior targeting pods.
War is boring are similar site pust up an article that generates traffic. CNN quotes war is boring.
The f-35 development cost of $1.5 trillion? Really?
So lets change the headline:
Define “People inside the military”
Consider the source? I have, and here’s why...
• The USMC has been in both the rotary and fixed-wing tactical aviation business since 1912. That’s slightly more experienced than graduating JFC.
• The Marines have used the Hornet (20mm gun) and Harrier (external 25mm gun) for CAS since the mid-1980s. Before that, they…
Posting a link to a 100-page PDF over & over again is not a counter argument.
Are you referring to the obsessive reporting of the “failure” of the F-35 project? If so I completely agree. Dont think theres ever been the development and manufacturing of a new sophisticated weapon that has ever gone exactly to plan, but that was before blogs..
The Danes buying the F-35 is a no-brainer. If you read what the high-side says about the capabilities this aircraft will bring, then buying the Eurofighter would have been criminally dumb. (there’s reasons why Typhoon buys are being reduced by the member countries and they are basically hoping for export sales.)
Im sorry, but there has never been nor will there ever be an F-35 that costs anywhere near $85 million dollars. F-35s cost ~$185 million a pop
So does that mean the Danes are reneging on their plan to by A-10's?
The opinion of Tyler on military blogs written by people that actually were, or are, in the military is very, very low.
If Jesus came back, the “Christians” today would accuse him of blasphemy and burn him at the stake.
Funny thing is, leaving is absolutely the opposite of what Jesus would have done.
