“No matter of ass-shittery someone does on a bike before they’re stationary does it warrant a cop ripping them off the bike.”

Just to play devil’s advocate here, we don’t have to assume anything. For all we know that biker was a wanted terrorist who just murdered a bald eagle and shat on a basket full of puppies before slipping in among the rest of the crowd to make his escape, and the cop just jumped chute-less out of a helicopter in a fit

Hate-clicks are pretty much the entire Gawker business model at this point.

RIP Lanesplitter

I was at my local gun shop last weekend. They were selling sir plus French rifles. Sign said never fired dropped only once!

Bingo fuel, FA.

Mr. Hollande seemed to be in a daze during the performance.

Why are there two extra colors on that flag?

I hear what you’re saying; I get it. I used to think that too. But then I saw how things have changed. This isn’t 1972. CAS is a MISSION, not a plane. It’s communications, it’s training, it’s technology, it’s tactics.

- The YA-7F was an examination into doing just that, 25+ years ago because the Army’s doctrine changed, requiring faster strike aircraft. The YA-7F lost out to the F-16 because the Viper could accurately hit targets and it was already in production (economics of scale). The US Army was fine with this.

- The Corsair is

one service controlling what is essentially one mission.

I’d be less embarrassed by a gay porn career than I would be if my name was on some of the articles on the other blogs.

As usual, the only one who knows that you’re talking about— is you.

First time I’ve ever starred one of those. This usage is appropriate.

Tyler,

NATO is a defensive alliance.

I’m on board with Second Mouse; I didn’t initially think this would be a site I’d be visiting, yet have found myself over here often and have always been impressed with your writing and grasp.

You misunderstand. It’s a Night Hunter because it hunts the night. The helicopter must have thought it went underground to hide and tried to follow.

Phased out, but slowly. They are also being modified with new radars and other systems, because there aren’t enough F-22s to take on the air superiority and defense role.
