That F-35 had a very early control system configuration; it limited much of what the aircraft can do. For example, in the defensive set up, the F-35 could not use rudder at high AOA to reverse...Stuff like that sucks. There’s a new report out, about the operational F-35As (not the AF-2 test bird) doing offensive BFM…
