Satellites are top-down (essentially), drones are more on ground level, so you can see height of things, shadows, etc. Drones also don’t have a regular schedule like satellites do, so that means they’re a greater security threat...

Those fuel tanks won’t easily come off an F-16, they don’t jettison them usually...this is not a flight simulator, stores are limited. If you’re defending a double digit SAM, or merged, yeah, the bags might come off...but remember that the Viper is still Cat I (7g/I forget the AOA limit) with 2 370s and the missiles.
