Imma go ahead and agree with you. The 2nd gen odyssey was my first car and it was actually fun to drive, could fit a whole band's worth of shit in the back or a 4x8 sheet of ply and it would beat some cars at traffic lights. good times.

As a marketing asshole (albeit at a magazine, though we pitch a fair amount of video), this is definitely on Travel Channel's side, and he has every right to be pissed at his ad team.

To me, "They're at home on the boulevard or on the racetrack" sounds like there's a lazy copywriter that needed a good tag in their marketing department.

Nope, for cablecutters it's pretty much perfect. Right now I'm getting OTA DVR from Aereo for $12.99/mo, but that requires me to use AirPlay to get it from my iPad to my TV. Not really ideal. This would wrap up a whole bunch of stuff into one nice package.

Speaking as a longtime reader and a fan of where jalopnik is going, I'd like to say that I've always liked the dealership stories and the articles about more about the emotional response that cars give. It's what makes jalopnik different from C&D and R&T.

I'm going to speak up for the iPod classic users: I keep one synched with my entire music library and keep it in my car. It's nice to have. No, it's not anywhere close to full—I think there's 75 gigs on it or something, but I'm not buying an iPod Touch to just keep in my car. Seems like a waste.
