Well, with 2 good-guy kings the options seem:
-one or both die in combat (this is game of thones after all)
-the kingdom is split in a northern (Jon) and southern (Dany) half
-they marry (although i got the impression Jon is starting to sweet on Sansa, and she is less related to him than Dany)

The Lannisters always pay their debts
Trump goes bancrupt every other year

Same here: reading the title of this article made me think it was a documentary in the same vein as this talk on autism https://www.ted.com/talks/s…

Yuck, i checked the internet to see if your spoiler was correct and it seems it is.
Totally out-of-left field ending. They should have gone with boring old 'it was the psychiatrist'
i always feel so liberated when being lectured on appropriate clothing.

Why is that different then f.e. building a house that still stands after 200 years and profits people who had no part in building it?

I'm reminded of the time i spend on the babylon5 forums. There was this guy who was constantly posting messages about his favorite show (a previous JMS work) and more specifically made a huge deal about 'i want to fantasize about that show, but making up my own adventures would infringe copyright'.
And this guy sounded

you got me thinking about how it would play out reversed: work-obsessed black/asian guy asking magical old white guy for help and spiritual guidance and being told to chill and enjoy his family more.

it's kinda a double-edged sword that also seems to apply to dwarves and fat people and other speciality looks: there is always (the promise of) work, as long as you are willing to debase yourself.

i felt it's a nice contrast with the gruesome crimes (and highlights how out-of-place crime is in normal people's lives): how often does a movie-detective just do their job, being motivated but not obessed.

i remember it as being okay, maybe the world just wasn't ready for Coen-weirdness.

nice

Yeah they do.
But just as with white dudes its really just a small subsection that reaps the rewards of that preferential treatment (typically those with rich parents and good connections)

They can take a cue from the brexit: nobody wants it, the people who voted 'yes' just thought that *threatening* to leave would somehow pressure the rest of the EU into doing their bidding and bring back the glorious English empire. So now England is fervently backpaddling and it seems the whole thing will just be

I have yet to decide wether this is a lazy haynecked way to give his character depth or an interesting arc about him discovering that he used to rush through live and gave up on things (his 3 marriages, his job at then-FBI) way too quickly in his lust for new emotional stimuli.

Yeah, i'm no buying it either. Sounds to much like something that people WANT to hear ('stupid hollywood with their fainting-victorian-lady-who-thinks-of-the-children test-audiences and their violence =good sex=bad hypocrisy')

That's a huge problem with modern experiments (but often ignored): guinee-pigs are often psych-students that know or can guess 'the right answer' (or at least 'the desired answer') and act accordingly. It is all well-intended really: they feel sorry for the proffessor who might otherwise have wasted his time setting

Dunno, i'm partial to the view that these experiments being very famous is more interesting than the actual outcomes in that we very much *want* to think that people immidiately fall to violence and torture whenever given the opportunity, and that nobody ever steps up for the victim.
Despite this 'common knowledge'
