The best part of exploitation movies was always the title (mostly in an 'i can't believe they actually went there' kind of way). The actual movies look like they were made on a $100 budget (used to be $1000 but they spend the rest on drugs) and tend to be this special combination of gross and dull.

According to my mom the primary result of the sexual revolution (and the introduction of birth-control) was 'now you no longer have an excuse to say no, bitch'.

Yes, that is totally a reasonable and sane reaction. I certainly like the huge amount of respect for women you show: these bitches should all be violently raped untill they have the proper opinion, right?

Maybe the media left something out but i'm really not following why she even made the hate-crime accusation: unless she is trying to build an argument that it was somehow part of a long-running campaign to supress and freighten all women at Sony (which would require a lot of backing statements from other women) it was

wasn't that like the first thing Sony offered: 'sure you can have another producer if this one upsets you so much, whatever you want as long as you don't leave us dear goldmine…uh Kesha'

@pinata
You are being sarcastic? right?

@silens
Or she hoped that Sony would want to silently offer her a deal to make this mess go away, and now it has spiraled out of her control?

Uhm yeah, you realize that's tv. The 'funny fat guy with a hot wife' is just wish-fullfilment for fat comedy-writers.

you mean the same Hollywood that will never hire a handicapped actor to play a handicapped character, and would rather ugly-down a hot chick than hire a plain-looking woman, and will let actors gain 30 kilo instead of hiring a fat guy?

While i think the fashion industry is full of bullshit i'm of the opinion that anorexia and the like is caused more by 'your own parents saying you are fat' than by 'some magazine suggesting you are fat'.

tofi: thin on the outside, fat on the inside. People who live unhealthy and (amongst other things) eventually build up a high amount of fat directly around their organs, but maintain a low bmi due to genetics.

Yeah, but an unattractive shoe-size is like being born with the wrong hair-color: it doesn't carry the 'you did this to yourself' stigma of clothing-sizes.

Your remark about 'just a little bit of powder' reminds me of how a few years ago there was this 'no make-up in fashion-pics' trend, well except for all the airbrushing, and some concealer, and you can't really show yourself without eyeliner,….

Agreed on liking asos. I picked up some cute dresses last christmas-sale (20 euro for a gorgous red dress. hurray).

There's 2 sides to it: while i don't particularly like being called out for being fat i do like having an entire magazine filled with 'fat fashion' (assuming it's really aimed at fat women and not just a sized-up version of clothing originally aimed at ultra-skinny supermodels).

I'm not sure what is supposed to set rape apart as 'something you should not gloss over' while using murder and other kinds of terrible violence seems to be totally okay as 'background material' with most complainers. Who even remembered that the hound killed an innocent boy before he was playing best palls with Arya?

For me FotN is a B versus a D for KtM, a B+ for time heist, A- for mummy, C for deep breath (but A for madam Vastra), B for robin hood.

They needed a writer for 'lots of people from the history of England tumble around over the stage'?
I mean, it wasn't all horrible but it was obviously budget-olympics.

He's a control freak? Than everyone who has ever argued with their lover is a control freak.
He just has a different perspective than her, which he explains but doesn't force onto her. If you are angry with him for that than maybe that's because you know his arguments hold a lot of water while you_want_him to be wrong.

I stopped reading at your first point: pure oxygen isn't flammable.
