Coupes?! I’m still trying to get over people calling Mercedes Benz’ “Mercs.” Mercs are Mercury. There is no hard C in Mercedes, so I pronounce it in my head as Murse, and in Man Purse. Benz is the KFCification of Mercedes Benz. Curse you Jeremy Clarkson and your drooling sycophants. Whew, I feel better now.

Not a single vehicle in Mercedes lineup looks better than anything from 5 years ago. I’ve never seen one brand collectively go so aesthetically downhill so quickly. Not even Lexus.

I still love this car though. It shows me who to steer well clear of. I have never seen a Merc GLE that hasnt been driven by a texting self-indulgent asshat. Basically trying to register a GLE should automaticaly result in your license being suspended.

I actually do think somebody who’s really driven the car will be better at selling it. If nothing else, they’re bound to be more enthusiastic.
