"Hey everyone, I overeacted in this situation. I left a voicemail for Andrew...we are going to reinstate his registration and as I mentioned, everyone is welcome to attend. Friends, customers, competitors..everyone. If you aren't coming to run a car, spectators are also welcome. "

Seems like a useless law to me. Does anyone really ever drive 10mph under the speed limit in the left lane? I know its Florida but still, that particular circumstance can't come up very often..

My first thought as well. You'd have to pay me handsomely to sleep in that bacteria pile... filthy air travellers leaving their nasty sweat and BO in a tiny capsulte. Yughh..

Of course its all guessing at this point, but remember AWD only helps if you're applying throttle... he lifted off as soon as the car started coming around so I'd say it was already a done deal. Then again, had it been AWD perhaps he would've been quick enough to apply a different technique to save the day.

I bet at that instant, he wished he opted for the AWD 911 Turbo instead :)

Not gonna lie to you.... I, uh, kinda want the CLS.

Yep, clear case of target fixation. That rider needs more practice before fooling around on Mulholland, imo. Newbie mistake couldn't ended up with death or serious injury to those cyclists..

brilliant indeed fuckin LOL this video just made my day

As much as I'd like to push for the Porsche it just wouldn't make ANY sense for a daily driver. As someone who has a classic in the garage, they're just not "dailies" in my opinion..

The 12C guy couldn't swing the tail out to save his life. This EVO guy couldn't keep a drift on the course to save his.

Yeah this kink really bothers me... it's completely out of place with the rest of the car.

I just can't see how a fast lap would at all be possible in a modern F1 car. This will be awesome to watch if he really gives it some effort.

The thought is cool and all, but the execution suffered. They really should've looked to something like the Jensen Interceptor for inspiration, instead their wagon Camaro turned out like a hearse.

Cool story (bro)! I rented a house and car in St John several years ago and loved the hell out of that island... there isn't a straight bit of road for more than 50 feet, it was quite exciting to cruise around.

Misleading title.. Petty presented the car, but that meat company should be getting the credit for, you know, actually buying the thing :)

My completely uneducated guess would be about a thousand or more? I believe 1300 were built over the course of 5 years (87-92?).

Actually I'd be surprised if even 100 have perished over the 2 decades...

I stopped reading here:

What can I say, it had been a dream of mine for years. As a child, our dockside neighbor on the Cote D'Azur had one when it first came out

Yeah, Im sure it was a magical and unattainable childhood dream... living in poverty on a yacht in Monaco, and what-not.. lol. Maybe I'll read it later this

What happened to Saleen anyway? How did they disappear from the spotlight when they had such a strong brand in the 90s and early 2000s? I guess that's an article in itself.

The NRA has to take an extreme position because their opponents also take extreme positions. This is why middle ground is hard to reach. NRA's stance on the subject is 'give them an inch and they'll take a mile', and rightfully so. Gun grabbers won't be content with more stringent licencing, it will only take the next
