Misleading title.. Petty presented the car, but that meat company should be getting the credit for, you know, actually buying the thing :)

My completely uneducated guess would be about a thousand or more? I believe 1300 were built over the course of 5 years (87-92?).

Actually I'd be surprised if even 100 have perished over the 2 decades...

I stopped reading here:

What can I say, it had been a dream of mine for years. As a child, our dockside neighbor on the Cote D'Azur had one when it first came out

Yeah, Im sure it was a magical and unattainable childhood dream... living in poverty on a yacht in Monaco, and what-not.. lol. Maybe I'll read it later this

What happened to Saleen anyway? How did they disappear from the spotlight when they had such a strong brand in the 90s and early 2000s? I guess that's an article in itself.

The NRA has to take an extreme position because their opponents also take extreme positions. This is why middle ground is hard to reach. NRA's stance on the subject is 'give them an inch and they'll take a mile', and rightfully so. Gun grabbers won't be content with more stringent licencing, it will only take the next

Bingo! I was gonna post the same thing. Not only do these clowns wanna trample on the 2nd amendment, they'll take the 1st right down with it. It's amazing how quickly folks forget free press and free speech when the subject matter is not to their liking.

This should REALLY be the story here, folks.

You know how they could've kept me playing? By making a good game..

I hate that they attached the Forza name to it, it's complete arcade-racer trash compared to the rest of the franchise.. and they really down-sold that aspect in previews and reviews. It's nothing you'd expect a Forza game to drive.

Actually it kind of makes me want to buy a hundred grams of the good stuff and have myself a party....

Can someone tell me why they drove an RX7 off a jump, through a forest, and into a river? Those marketing guys must've been buried up to their nostrils in coke!!!

Someone give this man a beer!

most likely?

The CTS-V wagon didn't interest you but this does? I like the Vauxhall too, but the Cadi is insane..

That's stupid... Tesla is highly innovative and I wish them nothing but success. They're the only company which actually stands a chance to rid us of our dependence on oil for personal transportation. All the power to 'em.

I think it looks amazing. Much better than the square lights before it. Very clean design.

I was disappointed when I saw the new Pathfinder. I have a 2005 thats built like a tank and just as reliable. Its a pig on gas but that's the only complaint I have... I've towed thousands of pounds (boats, cars, etc) with it over long hauls and it performed admirably.. it also performed construction site duty on all

I feel like the front of the car is disproportionally 'stylized' when compared with the back. Almost as if they ran out of time and money at the B-pillar and decided to recycle the DTS from there and back.

With that said, the front is insane!

It always amazes me to see how much body roll the best supercar in the world (at the time) exhibited.. a stark difference to sports cars of today, and no doubt a testament to modern suspension technology.

I like it in white, and I like the wheels.. but thats about it. The wing is hideous, in true Japanese tuner culture they always go way over the top. The exhaust also sounds like crap unfortunately.

Looked to me like he may have hit a bump under acceleration, which lifted the front off the ground and basically turned him into a dart... just speculation. Or it could've been stuck throttle, but that doesn't explain why he wouldn't just turn in regardless.

I believe they weren't available for straight out purchase in the beginning. You could only lease.
