I’m now WFH until further notice. But I work in sports broadcasting...with all the leagues shutting down for a while I hope I still have a job at the end of this.

Happens all the time around here. New houses went up near a general aviation airport that’s been there 80 years and they complain. Some houses went up a ways away from a shooting range that’s been there over 50 years and they file noise complaints... I really hate people.

I have a regular work from home day (work in tech). I almost never actually work. I check my schedule ahead of time to see if there’s any important calls that day. If not, time for a nice good morning joint to get the day started properly.

We’re supposed to fly to Austria in June. I have no idea if that's going to be possible or advisable by then.

This is the right take. I’m 39 and have always been a Japanese / Euro guy. The fact that the biggest American motorcycle company is HD is frankly an embarrassing situation. I’d love to ride an American bike but only if it could compete with the best of what the rest of the world is doing these days.

I’m local to the Bay Area and attend every year through my employer. I was already debating backing out due to this situation but now that it’s canceled that’s saves me the trouble of deciding.

We tried blue apron, once. The sheer amount of packaging that everything came in was a massive turn off. Besides, googling a recipe or looking on a food blog is trivial, we have plenty of grocery stores close by as well.

Gen X er here. Diamonds are stupid and not even rare. Their value is manipulated by a cabal of companies who have fleeced the world into thinking a piece of carbon that sparkles is worth something.

Looked into buying new but just wasn’t interested in having to spend 30k + for a car I would actually want to drive. I ended up going with a 2009 e90 that's in great shape. Sure these cars can have some issues but it still pales in comparison to what it costs to buy a new car these days.
